Attonburn is a renowned stock rearing farm in the Cheviot Hills, farmed by Charles and Mary Symons.

Our aim is to produce top quality breeding stock to the highest of welfare standards. The farm extends to 1521 acres rising from 480 feet to 1847 feet above sea level.

The livestock business revolves around cattle and sheep. The cattle enterprise consists of 120 pedigree Luings. The main sheep enterprise is Hill (also known as Lairg) Type North Country Cheviots numbering 1425 ewes and 375 hoggs. We regularly show sheep at the Royal Highland Show and have won numerous championships, including winning the interbreed championship twice.
